I am excited to have had the opportunity to work on the Remember App and Responsive Website, which is a platform designed to help people take their medications on time.
My role
As a UX designer, I am excited to have had the opportunity to work on the Remember App and Responsive Website, which is a platform designed to help people take their medications on time.
The purpose of this app and website is to improve the health and well-being of those who use it, by ensuring they never miss a medication dose again.
During the design process, I focused on creating a user-friendly and intuitive interface that would be accessible to a wide range of people, regardless of their technological proficiency. I also incorporated features that would allow users to set reminders, track their medication usage, and receive personalized alerts.
One of the key challenges I faced was creating a design that would work equally well on both the app and the website. To address this, I used a responsive design approach, which allowed me to create a seamless user experience across multiple devices.
Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome of this project and am confident that it will make a real difference in the lives of those who use it. Going forward, I believe that there is still room for improvement, and I am excited to explore new features and functionalities that could make this app and website even more effective.

Research study details
Project background:
We want to test the usability and desirability of the medicine reminder features in our mobile app. We believe these features and functionalities will make it easier for users to remember to take their medicine on time, but we haven’t validated them with potential users.
Research goals:
We’d like to figure out what specific difficulties users encounter when they try to complete the core tasks of the Medicine Reminder app: setting up reminders, viewing medication schedules, and tracking medicine intake.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Time on task: how much time users spend setting up a reminder and tracking their medicine intake
- Conversion rates: how many people create accounts and set up reminders
- System Usability Scale: a questionnaire to evaluate customer feedback

Key challenges
Creating a simple and intuitive interface that is easy to use for people of all ages and technical abilities.
Designing an effective reminder system that reminds users to take their medication at the right time and in the right dosage.
Ensuring that the app is accessible and usable for people with disabilities, such as visual or hearing impairments.
Balancing the need for reminders with the need for privacy and security, as users may not want their medication schedules to be visible to others.
Designing a seamless experience across multiple devices and platforms, such as smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.
Conducting user research and testing to ensure that the app meets the needs and preferences of the target audience.
Initial design concepts
After conducting a competitive audit, I brainstormed ideas for how to address the gaps and opportunities identified. Specifically, I focused on creating features that would help users better track their medication and simplify the refill process, while also keeping in mind the importance of accessibility and ease of use.
After ideating and drafting some paper wireframes, I created the initial designs for the Remember app. These designs focused on delivering customized reminders and alerts to help users manage their medication schedule.

Conclusion and possible next steps
Through the design process, I gained a deeper understanding of the importance of user-centered design and the value of taking the time to conduct thorough research and testing. I also learned that by focusing on specific user needs and iterating on designs based on user feedback, it’s possible to create solutions that are not only effective but also engaging and enjoyable to use.
In conclusion, the Remember App and Responsive Website aim to help people take their medications on time, reducing the risk of adverse health effects and improving their overall health outcomes. The product’s goal is to provide a user-friendly and convenient tool for managing medication schedules, particularly for older adults or those with complex medication regimens.
To achieve these goals, the design process of the product needs to consider various challenges, including the need for intuitive and accessible interfaces, integration with various types of medication management systems, and the ability to provide timely reminders and alerts to users.
In terms of possible next steps, the design team may need to conduct user testing and gather feedback from target audiences to refine and improve the product’s functionality and user experience. Additionally, the team could explore partnerships with healthcare providers and medication management services to enhance the product’s reach and impact. Finally, ongoing maintenance and updates to the product will be necessary to ensure it remains relevant and effective in meeting user needs.
the audience and their needs, as well as considering the organization’s goals and values. The website needed to be visually appealing and user-friendly, while also communicating the mission and impact of the organization effectively. Additionally, we had to overcome challenges such as incorporating donation features, creating engaging content, and ensuring the website was accessible to all users.
Moving forward, possible next steps would be to continue testing and gathering feedback from users to ensure the website is meeting its goals and making improvements where necessary. It’s also important to regularly update the website with fresh content and adapt to changes in technology and user behavior to ensure the website remains relevant and effective in achieving the organization’s mission. Finally, exploring new ways to engage with and expand the audience, such as through social media campaigns or partnerships with other organizations, could help to increase the website’s impact and reach.
